Hard DIY without proper tools
The hose is pretty stiff and is a solid product. However, I find the receiving end of the hose to be a bit smaller then the plastic charge pipe that goes on top of the engine. I figured a way around this by raising the attached clap in order to make a larger diameter for the pipe to fit in. And in regards to the attached claps; they are both hooked in an awkward position that will force you to get more tools (if you don't have) to screw it in; as opposed to having loose clamps with the freedom to put it in a more convenient, or in fact any position you'd like.

It's a tight fit getting it on but it does the job like it's supposed to. The old in comparison was pretty bad.

My 12-year old S80 2.5T had a blown turbo and the original hose was swollen and sticky. This proved to be a nice, tight, fit with very useful self-retaining (and very high quality) clamps. I treated the rubber with some 303 and it looks gorgeous... and only I will ever know ;-)

It's a hose that's the right shape and size for the job, with quality clamps included.

I tried the less expensive hose and it did not fit,, this one was perfect. I was very impressed. It came with 2 clamps that were clipped to the hose,,,,no chasing the clamp or struggling to hold it in place. 10 minutes it was changed
