Still blowing strong after 18 months.
My old blower was making a lot of noise on any speed over 2 on the knob. It sounded like an imbalance or a high-speed wobble maybe. Anyway, I replaced it along with the resistor and it has been trouble-free for 18 months now. The feeling of strong cold air on a hot August day is worth this difficult repair. If you're installing this on an XC90, then you either need to remove part of the dash (which will take awhile) or break off one of the mounting tabs on the blower housing. This is due to one of the mounting bolts being sandwiched between the dash and the firewall (thanks Ford). You will be left with one less bolt holding the housing in place, but there are enough bolts there to hold it securely. Check out YouTube if you need clarification. Anyway like I said, 18 months with no issues.

Blower Motor for XC70
My AC blower would run after turning off the car, but did not stick on high so I wasn't sure the resistor was at fault. I decided to replace both the resistor and the fan motor, since I had read that a faulty fan could affect the resistor, and the job was pretty labor intensive--one I didn't want to do twice. The blower motor and squirrel cage fit the old housing like a glove and it was very simple to swap them out after removing the fan from the dash. It took about 2-1/2 or 3 hours but that is because I also replaced my cabin air filter at the same time and repaired the damper link on the dash blower louver, since it was accessible. If you are left-handed the job would be a little easier!

Got my air blowing again! 2001 S60 T5
My original blower motor finally gave out after almost 200k miles and 18 years of spinning in the hot south Florida weather. Swapped it out for this Behr unit as well as replacing the regulator for good measure and thar she blows! Ice cold air coming at me once again. Took me about 1.5 hrs start to finish. 1/4" swivel adapter comes in handy for the rear most T25 at the back of the fan housing. Here's to the next 200k miles!

Perfect Fit. Works great and moves lots of air. Installation instructions would have been nice as taking the glove box out is a bit of a trick and it's easy to break things. Note that the resistor pack was also replaced as a part of this repair.

Perfect fit - worked
My old blower was still working at 165K when the resistor went out, but it had been squeaking, largely in the winter, for the past several years, so I decided to replace the blower motor as long as I had the dash apart to replace the resistor. This motor was a perfect fit and works well. It was at least very similar to the OEM motor, I don't recall if it was identical.

Great Service
Great service as always, the part came packaged tightly and securely. The blower motor works like a champ!
