Do yourself a favor and buy a few of these. The clips that hold the hood liner in place are the same ones that are used to hold the protection pad in place underneath the vehicle (the one you need to remove to change oil). They're inexpensive, but don't last forever. Buy 10-12 of them just to keep in the garage so you have them ready when it's time to replace.

Work great! The old ones were so brittle that they broke when removed.
