Along with replacing EVAP purge valve, this item helped solve a CEL issue. Perfect OEM replacement that cleared the code and passed state emissions test.

I've been chasing the PO442 "Small Leak" for a few weeks. I started with visual check of lines, then replaced the cap with an "OEM", but not Genuine Volvo. Finally after a month of continuing codes, I purchased what I should have started with. Worth the few extra dollars to get the "Original Blue" part.

Glad to have replaced this. I never thought about it until I happened to notice the rubber gasket on my old cap was almost gone from wear and time. Brand new and looking like a firm fit.

Cured the "Small Evap Leak" error code I was getting on my 2002 Volvo S80. The seal around the old cap was tired & cracked in several places. This new one works like a champ.

Nothing really to say- this is the same as the part that came off the car, needed to replace when the car failed the gas cap emissions test. My local garage replaced my old cap with a cheap generic cap- I got this to have the right cap on the car.
