Installation took about 10 minutes. Used a nail set to push the old pins through and the old part came out easy. Snapped onto fuel door with no issue and mounted to vehicle with no issue as well. Use an oversided punch and just tap the pins in till flush

Part was very easy to install and fit very well. Only thing I caution is to be careful when installing the pins that hold the hinge to the body. You don't need much muscle to get them to seat. Very pleased with the part.

Fixed the issue of the door flying open. Lost a couple black pins though in transit.
My fuel door hinge no longer will fly open if not locked. But in shipping, the two outer most pins came off and was not found. It is secured only by the 2 inside pins. It works but is slightly loose. I am going to try and find something else to put in its place to secure better.

Easy job on son's S60. Plastic spring tabs on the original had broken off and the spring was tired. This kit fixed everything and was a snap to install. We drilled out the old plastic mounting tabs using a 1/8" drill bit rather than trying to punch them in. The whole job took 10 minutes or less.

this makes a night and day difference honestly! i installed it around half a year ago and its still holding on pretty strong and steady no issues what so ever! this is a very simple job your everyday joe can do it theres a video FCP provides takes roughly about 5-15 mins honestly hardest part is just detaching the old plastic awesome piece i love it! worth the money.
