Replacing the gasket would have probably worked, but I didn't want to take a chance and just bought a whole set. It's cheap anyway.

I was experiencing an annoying oil leak from the oil fill cap on my 2001 Volvo S60. The leaking oil would eventually settle on top of the aluminum valve cover underneath the plastic beauty cover. I purchased the genuine Volvo replacement oil fill cap from FCP and it worked perfectly!

This factory part fixed the problem of my car leaking oil around the filler, that an aftermarket cap did not.

The non-genuine cap I bought was leaking within 6 months. So far so good with the genuine.
