Ordered this part on a Saturday in Australia. Arrived the following Friday. Pretty good delivery I think given its half way around the world. New thermostat fitted and all is good. Purchased the temp sensor too. Price for both including delivery to Australia was cheaper than the temp sensor here.

Genuine blue box product, what's really to say? It's a perfect fit with great results. 1 stop shopping a no brainer for the correct part even though it can be found cheaper in a no frills box. But with that, it's a gamble, Through FCP there is no loss.

wish I had replaced the thermostat before driving cross-country with a Uhaul behind the 99 V70! No more overheating!

It works!
If you are getting the dreaded P0118 code, this will probably do the trick. Save yourself the trouble and get an OEM thermostat - they seem to last longer than any other brand. Not sure why thermostats fail on Volvos all the time... you'd think that they would have this simple mechanism figured out by now. Easy drop in replacement - just don't forget to attach the included gasket. Hopefully this lasts longer than my AutoZone P.O.S. :)

Just like the one I removed, which I think is the original one, and it seems to fit and work just fine. Car was staying cold on the highway in the winter, so a quick inspection led me to find the old one was stuck open. Cheap and easy fix!

Works perfectly! Bolts are super hard to get off, so I recommend soaking bolts in PB Blaster for a few days before trying to uninstall. Highly recommend using Irwin's bolt grip tools to turn the screw heads loose. I had to disconnect the fuel line to get the back screw off. Should have taken two minutes but it took about an hour, one broken T-40 torx, and some bloody fingers. Do yourself a favor and get some new screws at Home Depot - they are 7m-1.0x30mm. The hex head is a lot better for future disassmbly.
