Does what it should. This is one of those space filler parts that you should throw in your cart to make the free shipping worth it! They're good to have on hand, and actually fit the drain plug, unlike what the auto store will give you. Mine is no longer leaking, so that makes this a good value to me!

I like that you stock these as my local parts stores don't stock aluminum washers. I tried a nylon washer that came with my replacement plug from the local parts store and it leaked after torquing to spec! I will stick with these aluminum washers as long as I perform oil changes on this car.

This oil drain washer was my precious... this one ring to rule them all saved my car and my life. For almost a year I felt as though I was missing something, as if a dark void had permeated around me. I was lost and disenchanted with my S420... Until I purchased this amazing oil drain washer made by Elring. As soon as I installed this my life had purpose and meaning once more! Thank you FCP cuz you are down with me!

This washer works on the engine and transmission oil drain plugs. They are single use, but if you are careful about torque application on the first use you may get two uses without a leak. They are cheap, so I would still recommend replacing it every service.

Add one or two to your orders here and there so you always have an extra washer handy to put a fresh washer in there on your oil change. I go every 3rd, something like that. I always thought these washers were sort of a wishy-washy idea and didnt really "work" until I helped a friend with their car and looked at an oil leak. A Mechanic shop put a new oil pan in their car and finished off a good repair with a rickety old used washer under the drain plug which, of course, was the cause of the oil dripping from the drain plug. New washer, no more leak, it was that simple. So these do work as simple and seemingly insignificant they may appear.

Not the most critical thing to review but I see no drips so they work. Change your washers when you change the oil, use a torque wrench to tighten the plug, and you will never have to worry about replacing that nice, expensive aluminum oil pan.
