Yea you should replace this part every time you do your oil it pretty much saves your aluminum oil pan from your metal bolt and prevents oil dripping and scratching your pan. Or buy a few from a hardware store and call it a day not expensive anyways so add it to your cart every oil change.

This works great as an OEM equivalent replacement crush washer. The only thing I wish for is that I ordered more to use!

Not sure if the Genuine Volvo is worth paying up for, so I purchased 10 of these. Seem to work perfectly, and not seeing any leaks from drain pan. Make sure you torque appropriately.
