Much heavier duty than I expected, which is fantastic. I performed a belt replacement in the past without this tool and I was extremely nervous about touching the camshaft gears. I will still be cautious, but this tool will provide a level of security against accidental misalignment.

Saving money by changing your timing belt is easy, but this makes the job so much easier and guarantees that you will not wreck the timing (and therefore the engine). If you are chaning the timing belt, this tool should be an automatic choice.

Tool is very helpful for first time attempt of the timing belt change. However beware it is not infallible, the one I have 2 prongs fit perfect on one side and only 1 prong on the other. It will move if your not careful so keep checking the lock if you even think your hand brushed up against it.
