Without this bracket I would not have gotten my daughters car running. There wasn’t any directions that came with the kit. But after about thirty minutes and quick YouTube video I got the bracket installed. After assembling everything the cranked over the first time without hesitation. Ran like a brand new car. The car has 180,000 miles on it. The car timing belt blew and I had to replaced the belt along with the Intake and Exhaust valves. DIY weekender.

I was worried when the description did not include the 1.9T early S40, neither does the box. But the tool works as described. Remove just enough stuff on the back (right) of the motor and mount the tool. The Exhaust cam has a lot of torque on the nut and you don't want anything moving. After I ordered this tool I found a competitor that "rented" the tool for 3 weeks at a time. I may never use it again. I suppose I can sell it. Bottom line it worked and I could not have done the job without it.

This is essential if you are doing a timing belt replacement or cam seals. Easy to use.

Nice tool. Reasonable price. Only problem is, no instructions. We spent an hr or so mucking about with the thing, finally getting it right, we think. I would suggest you include an instruction sheet with this tool.
Thank you.
