Replacing due to electrical problem. Great fit.

Video makes replacement seem simple. I spent 1.5 hours struggling with snap ring installation and the body of the sensor would simply fall out. I finally took an endoscope camera with my iPhone to view the notch on the side where the snap ring secures the position sensor into the brake booster housing. I could see that I had not pushed the new sensor far enough into the brake booster housing. I really got behind the position sensor and pushed with all my strength. That was enough to seat the new sensor into the brake booster and I could then install the snap ring. You really need to get behind the sensor to seat it properly. That is not conveyed properly in the video. Now that I know what I know, the installation is simple and my engine Service messages have gone away.

The sensor was a perfect replacement and fixed my DTC and "Brake system service required" dash message. The repair was easy - took me about 30 minutes and only minimal elbow grease. I couldn't get the included retaining ring to fit securely enough to hold the sensor in, but ended up reusing the original and got 'er done!

I had to file away a good bit of plastic to make this fit. But it still working just fine for the couple months its been installed.

Got rid of the intermittent codes I was getting regarding this thing and fixed the mystery vacuum leak in the brake circuit. Installed with no fuss!
