The original parts become oil clogged, causing weak and unusably late boost. Install one of these along with an inline air filter from the turbo housing. Gave back alll the torque I never knew was gone! Be sure to adjust your tired wastegates and it will be like a whole new engine.

Incredible change in my car. My old solenoid was ticking loudly for 5 sec after I turned off my car. I replaced it with this part at 1/2 the price of my local (three initials) parts store. With a set of new plugs i now get 21.5mpg in town instead of 17.5mpg before... and TONs of power was restored. If you have over 100k but this part and replace your old one. You'll find power you didn't know you had lost. Best repair yet on my $1,500 in parts overhaul.

I've been doing business w/FCP for a long time and there the best European Parts Provider online. There parts warranty is the best in the business and they have the best customer service I've ever dealt with. I wish FCP sold USDM/Import parts, I'd rather deal with FCP instead of the vendors I have to use for those parts.

TCV valves like to fail. For stock boost pressures (and quite a bit more too), the OEM valve is more than sufficient and more responsive than aftermarket ones. FCP Euro had the OEM valve at a great price.
