Installed with timing belt kit, and as expected this fits like OE.

My old tensioner was whailing like a banshee when I drove around. This one made my ride whisper quiet in the old '01 s60. Mechanic had no trouble installing it.

INA Tensioner
I bought this Tensioner after trying gates and duralast. The aftermarket would make a horrible rattling noise. Learned my lesson by purchasing and fixed my issue with INA.

Fits great. It's so nice to no longer have that old squeaky pulley.

Buena Calida pero me gusta mas la original del vehículo
Se ve de buena calidad y bien construida, pero necesita una herramienta no común para quitar la tensión de la correa. Yo hubiera preferido el estilo de la pieza original con la que salió el vehículo.

I bought the Volvo brand tensioner and it's clearly made by INA (you can even see it in the photo for the OEM listing). So I expect this is exactly the same, just with "Volvo" removed from the casting. I took the new OEM tensioner to the tool store and verified it's a T-60. See my review there for installation notes that would apply to this tensioner as well.

Correct part different from original
It may look different then the one you your car and that is because it is! This newer style part does not have the exposed nut on the tensioner for gaining slack and istead you need to use a 3/8" t55 torx socket (double check when you get it i believe that is the one). Must by 3/8" though because 1/2" will be to tall to fit in the small area. Alternatively you can try and take the top cap off of the pulley itself and use that nut.
