I bought two brackets when I placed an order for two front strut assemblies. I ended up not using them as I could easily take off the old parts from the old assemblies and re-used them. It's good FCP makes them available - I think some people might need it if he/she is unable to take the old one off.

Should be part of any strut replacement kit. New bracket went on beautifully, holds perfectly.
