Question Posted by a customer
Does this drain the torque converter and the transmission oil cooler and lines also? If so, how much transmission fluid will I need to refill the complete transmission system?

If you can email service with your year make and model or VIN number we can confirm for you.

The Transmission Fluid Service Kits for the MB 772.6 5 speed transmission have 5L of trans fluid. The description for this tool says it will flush out up to 2.6L more (or do the math: 8.5Lx90%=7.65L). Would you like to include the" WARNING: order extra transmission fluid when using this tool"?

Thank you for your suggestion.
Question Posted by a customer
How safe is to flush the transmission with compressed air? Can the tool be used to pressure AT fluid through using a pump, to better displace the old fluid?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
It is safe to use air pressure to drain your transmission. This tool is meant to be used with the oil pan off to drain the oil passages and valves. It is designed to be used with air, we have not tried to adapt it to a fluid pump.
Question Posted by a customer
If using this tool on a 722.9 transmission, is the torque converter drained before using this flush kit? Or is the torque converter drained by the flush kit? Looks like this could be a very helpful tool. Would love to see FCP Euro do a video of a tranny flush with the CTA 7650.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
The Torque Converter is partially drained by the flush kit, but definitely not to completion. This kit is more helpful for cleaning oil out of passageways and valves. It is more complete than a standard drain and fill.
