When I replaced my worn out tailgate shocks, I found that the tailgate cover had been damaged by being slammed so many times over the years. This kit only took 30 minutes to install, using minimal hand tools. Now, it's a nice, snug fit. Highly recommended! The only downside is, if you need to remove the tailgate cover again, plan on replacing the kit again! They don't seem to take nicely to being removed and reinstalled!

Sometimes, every Volvo wagon begins noising and cracking at rear door. It really solves this problem on years.

I bought this kit and it took about a half hour to install. I took my time. It did the job.

This kit is ok. If your standoffs are severely cracked from years of abuse you may need to add a 3" screw on each side of the tailgate (you can safely predrill for them about 3" down and 4" in to the carpeted area on each side) to keep the clips from breaking lose again. The metal pieces used for the repair will start to bend outward a bit after a few too many bumps and the screws will prevent this.

If you tailgate is rattling or the clips broke, take the 5 minutes and fix it. It makes driving much nicer and every time you open the tailgate you dont have to worry about ripping the panel off. Overall great value.
