Do not believe the hype about lifetime fluids. All fluids will die with use and wear overtime. Flush out your dirty and burnt automatic transmission fluid before you do serious damage to your transmission.

I bought about 6 bottles of this to change the old, neglected tranny fluid in my B5 A4 Quattro. I was hesitant to use this fluid at first, however after doing some research and finding a PassatWorld.com thread with many, many, happy users logging many miles on the stuff, my worries subsided. Also, this stuff meets the requirements of Esso LT71141 (ZF's requirements for B5 Passat and A4 FWD and AWD TipTronic transmissions), so no need to worry about it wrecking your tranny! Not only is it synthetic, but it is also much cheaper than Pentosin or similar replacement tranny fluid and much, much, cheaper than OEM fluid. Buy 6 bottles so you can be sure you have for a tranny drain/refill and filter replacement. Make sure you follow the filling procedure found in the Bentley manual or other official sources. Then reap the benefits of having nice fresh tranny fluid and a smooth transmission.
