With out dismantling the engine I can't say for sure that it is any cleaner, but the engine did become noticeably quieter over the 10 minutes it was in the engine. I will most likely continue to use it during the next few oil changes.

Fixed high oil consumption
I used this product to fix high oil consumption on my Volvo 5-cylinder engine. A design flaw in the oil control ring causes deposits to build up, causing oil burn. This product worked great to clean out the deposits. I simply poured it into the oil, idled the engine for 10 minutes, and changed the oil.

LM' snake oils are the best...I just wanted to see what would happen- well, it did clean out quite a bit of solid build up and just gunk from an older T5 volvo engine, with almost 250k on it, so it does what it says it does. There was a noticeable darkening of the motor oil after the liquid ran trough the engine for about 12-14 mins, and when I poured the new LM oil in the engine and started it, the motor seemed quieter and happier... I'm not saying that it's because of this stuff, but it did help flush out some dirt. IMO it's worth the 11 bucks on them older rigs with murky oil change history...Thanks FCP

Vehicle: 2017 BMW F15 X5 50i. Though I'll never know for sure just how much cleaner the inside of the engine may be, or if it was the switch in oil brands I used, but my 50i seemed to burn just a little less oil between intervals this time around. The N63TU is notorious for oil burn, and maybe this or the change in oil helped the seals to seal a little better. Typically, I add about 1qt around the 6K mark, but this time I made it just shy of 9K. BMW calls for 10K oil changes. It was hilarious to see the BMW tech explain to my wife that nothing is wrong with the car, it's standard to burn that much on this engine, but that it's not standard to burn any oil at all and should never require topping up as they were actively topping up the car and the car didn't need anything to stop it from happening again...
