The oil can still be returned under the LRG.
Question Posted by a customer
Does this part qualify for lifetime warranty replacement?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Unfortunately, this wouldn't technically qualify because our warranty requires you to return the product. Once used, there's no way to actually return just the engine flush.
Question Posted by Brother
My oil level is at MAX, do I need to take some oil out first before putting liqui moly? I have N51 engine, about 6.5 quarts; would 1 can suffice? Thank you.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
No, you won't have to remove any oil. One 500 ml can is sufficient for up to 5 litres of oil. ideally, you'll want to use part of a 2nd can since your car takes more than 5 liters. Add Pro-Line Engine Flush to the engine oil at running temperature before changing the oil. After adding the product, allow the engine to idle for approx. 10 to 15 minutes depending on the degree of contamination. Then change the oil and the filter.
Question Posted by kyle
Can you add it to your oil immediately or should you let car get to temp then add this product? I understand letting it run for 10 mins on idle, just confused on if it has to be operating temp before you add?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
You can add while the engine is cold, then start the engine and let it idle for 10 - 15 mins. Then turn off the engine and drain oil.
Question Posted by a customer
I noticed it says a 500ml can will treat up to 5L of oil. I've got a 2016 GTI and the fill is 5.7L. Would this require the use of some additional flush or is the 500ml can sufficient?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
It would be recommended to use part of a 2nd can to match the 5.7 liter fill quantity. The use of 1 can would be ok as well.

I recommend draining from the oil pan, that will be better at removing the old oil and flush from the pan.
