Works well. I opted to just fill with air and push new fluid from the reservoir to the bleed valve. Less clean up this way. The box is just the right size to place the caliper on while changing pads on a Macan. Sweet!

I haven’t used it yet to bleed my brakes, but I used it to bleed the clutch on my 2001 Volvo V70 T5. It worked great! Go good flush and no air. The brakes are next.

Combined with a bleeder bottle, this really does make brake flushing and bleeding a fast 1-person job. Even if you have more than one person, this still makes the job much easier and cleaner. Technically, you don't "need" it -- but you definitely want it!

This unit makes bleeding brakes effortless ! It’s so much faster and better than the two person method. Also bought the Asian car adapter which works on my Nissan and Subaru. With this unit you can do a complete brake fluid flush in literally 30 minutes.

Power Bleeder - Motive Products
This kit really made the job so easy, would definitely recommend this for brake service whenever you are flushing or bleeding the brakes.

Great bleeder but maintenance is required!
This is a great product for flushing your brake fluid without having an assistant. I've used mine for several years for maintaining my family's six Volvos. But a couple of important points for the wise, so you don't have the problem I just encountered!
1. Always have a can of denatured alcohol on-hand for flushing flush the tank and tubing after each session. It's a bit of a pain but failure to do so will introduce contaminated fluid into your next brake job, as the residual will attract moisture during storage. This maintenance is prescribed in the Tank's user instructions.
2. Expect that even with good cleaning, the tubing is going to soften, discolor and eventually fail due to the aggressive nature of brake fluid. So don't wait for your tubing to split under pressure at a clamp (like mine did, dumping brake fluid on the engine, which required a thorough cleaning plus concern about serp belt damage). Just replace the tubing BEFORE when it starts getting soft. When you do, you can customize the tool by lengthening the tubing, getting rid of the brass connection if you never use on a vehicle with a non-European reservoir cap, etc. All it takes is 5/16" inner-diameter clear tubing and a few 13.3 mm Oetiker (stepless ear) clamps, which will secure better than screw-type clamps. Take care of this pressure bleeder and it will take care of you for a long long time.

I hate that I have this and only need to use it every 2 years but boy am I happy I bought this. It made my job so much easier and I didn't have to pay the dealer!

Should hhave got one year ago
Did a faster better job alone with this tool than I could ever do assisted by someone pumping the pedal. Should have bought one years ago. Plastics quality seems good.
