Question Posted by a customer
With the correct adaptor, would this power bleeder work for filling the transmission fluid on a 2015 VW Passat DSG transmission. I ask, because I own this bleeder already.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Not very effectively. This works by pressurizing fluid inside a small reservoir. Inside an empty transmission, the fluid transfer from this bleeder to the transmission will happen very slowly.
Question Posted by a customer
What is the correct amount of pressure to add? Well the safe amount of pressure. That way nothing gets damaged
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
15 PSI is usually more than enough to push brake fluid out of the system. Do not exceed 20 PSI, however.

Will this fit my 2001 Volvo V70 master cylinder reservoir?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Yes, this bleeder can be used with your model.
Question Posted by Ryan
Does this come with any tubing to attach to the caliper drain plug?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
No. This is specifically intended to pressurize the master cylinder. It does not suck fluid from the system. When using this bleeder you will need a catch bottle at the brake caliper.
Question Posted by BRADLEY
Does this bleeder come with instructions for it's use?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
It does not, however this is a very easy tool to use. Simply fill with up to two quarts of brake fluid from a new bottle and screw the cap onto your brake fluid reservoir. Pump it to increase pressure inside, and open your bleed valves one at a time to bleed new fluid into your system.
Question Posted by a customer
Can this be used to bleed a Seastar outboard motor hydraulic steering system?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Possibly depending on how that system is set up (can't say we're familiar with it). Pending there is a bleeder valve somewhere on the system you would just need the correct adapter to pressurize the system.

Question Posted by a customer
can I use this for other type of fluids? e.g. can I use this to suck out the ATF out of the power steering reservoir?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
No. This product does not act like a fluid evacuator. The pump in this power bleeder can only pressurize a an air tight system. For something that can remove fluid from a system by sucking it out please see CTA 7450.
