I developed the infamous power steering system leak, from hoses to power steering pump and all. So when the time came to replace the system in it's entirety I purchased this great Meyle BMW Power Steering reservoir. The price was great granted I did want to go with OE ZF brand reservoir since they are the original manufacture of the BMW stamped ZF part. ZF makes the power steering pump and all other associated items, then BMW gets their logo stamped on their parts and charges you more for the brand name :). Anyhow, this part fit and worked just like the original ZF BMW part that was originally installed in our beloved X5. Easy install and replacement I've been a long time user of Meyle parts and will recommend this one with confidence. System is now leak proof and worry free for many miles to come.

Part looks okay. It was made in china. Installed six months ago so far no leaks.

I didn't realize the power steering reservoir has a filter inside. So once I found this out, I ordered a few for my two e46 cars. Replacing steering fluid is often over looked. And replacing the reservoir because it has a filter inside has been overlooked by even me, until now. So I replaced mine when I changed the fluid. Part just as good as OEM with a lower price.

Good quality product fit like OEM, The original was leaking at the seam and this was perfect and shipped on time.

Quality part, steering has improved quite a bit, there is a filter in the reservoir that can get clogged over time. I believe mine was.
