Item installed as FCP video indicated. In SLK350 must remove fan to get to serpentine belt before installation. Careful with plastic clip on Thermostat electrical connection as it is exposed to heat of engine for years and breaks easily.

Mercedes Thermostat Kit (M272) - Borg Warner / Wahler 2722000415KIT
I couldn't ask for a better kit. The kit included everything I needed, top quality parts, and a link for a "how to" video. Saved a bundle and my SLK runs perfect again. Easy job for any DIY mechanic... hardest part was jacking up the car to drain the radiator!

I’m not a mechanic. I’m not a serious DIY guy. But I watched the FCP Euro video (3x) and had the confidence to change the thermostat in my 2006 Mercedes E350 4Matic. The car runs perfectly (115k miles) and I saved hundreds by doing it myself (well I did have great help from my 14 year old daughter).
