Worked perfectly! Suggest you spend the $36 bucks on the attaching hose when you change it. (my hose looked fine but was not) Very easy to change, use a 1/4" E to remove the top bolt and you won't have to remove anything to get to it. Take a picture or draw out the belt schematic. Draining the coolant took more time than anything else.

The check engine light came on my 2011 Mercedes E350 wagon (S212). Hooked up a code reader and got a P0128 code which is a coolant thermostat malfunction. Did a little research on YouTube and actually came upon an FCP Euro video outlining the steps in order to change the thermostat. It took me about 2 hours from start to finish to change the thermostat and refill drained coolant. Thanks to FCP Euro, I saved a ton of money by replacing myself than going to a dealer.

You may be thinking I've seen the exact same part somewhere else for less money. You will put that cheaper part in your dad's Mercedes at his insistence and he will make it 3 blocks before the hose come off and coolant is everywhere under the hood. This is a great quality piece for a great price. Easy for DIYer.
