This is an updated part for Mercedes M272 engines and was introduced in service bulletins sometime in 2007 to address the original squeaky pulley. This part DOES FIT my 2006 C350 Sport, which is one of the earliest examples of the 3.5L M272 engine. I believe this part number made its way into production for later model years on the W204 platform, so the compatibility on this website starts then, but it should fit earlier models.
