No, that tool is for the 5-speed transmission and is incompatible. Please use the overflow method to verify fluid level.

The kit comes with 8L of fluid but how much will actually be used? I ask because I put all 8L in but when I was setting the level with it running at temp 3.5L of fluid came out, so only 4.5L are in it. Just wanting to confirm I did it right.

I have a 2009 SLK55 AMG . My question is related to fluid -Is the fluid you include with the kit compatible with the OE fluid in my transmission now because when changing the filter kit there will still be original fluid in the transmission ? Also does my torque convertor have a drain plug?

The fluid in this kit is compatible with your transmission and is from the OE supplier. Your converter may have a drain however, not all 722.9 transmissions were equipped with one. If needed, it is part number 0019901117. It is inevitable that some of the original transmission fluid will remain in the transmission after a fluid service. The CTA 7650 transmission service tool is quite helpful for extracting the majority of the old fluid from your transmission.

This kit(Pentosin 001989680310) says it is NOT for vehicles with the A89 code, however the included Trans oil fiter(MER-2222772000) in this kit says it is for vehicles with A89 code. Please Is this kit safely compatible with my 2010 E550 (VIN: WDDHF7CB5AA121227), without A89 option code?

It is compatible with your non A89 equipped E550, this kit uses the upgraded filter assembly from the A89 vehicles.

They are one in the same. 001989680310 was the original number which superseded to 001989680313. The fluid specification for the transmission is 236.14 and the fluid in this kit meets the most recent Mercedes specification.
