I want to change the transmission oil on my 244 M46. The Bentley manual says to use ATF Type F, but your site lists this product instead. Is this correct? Another vendor lists RedLine 70W80 GL-4 Gear Oil as the correct fluid. Some guidance please, and thanks.

This is a perfect solution to replace the ATF Type F in your M46. The other vendor must have mislabeled this fluid as 70w80.

If looking for a Redline specific fluid, your vehicle requires 2.3 Liters of Redline 50604.

MTL is often used as an alternative fill in older Getrag 260/265 gearboxes.
