Question Posted by Benjamin
I want to add this product during an oil change. Do I have to subtract 300 ml new engine oil to accommodate 1 can of this product? Actually, since each can is only good enough for 5 liters of engine oil, and my car needs 8 liters of engine oil, I would need to subtract 480 ml new engine oil to accommodate this product? Can I mix this product with new engine oil and add them together to my engine? I hope my math is correct. Thanks!

Yes, I would add slightly less oil to accommodate. You can mix this product with new engine oil and add them together.

Hi, I noticed the following disclaimer: Not suitable for use in automatic transmissions. Does this mean this product shouldn't be used in vehicles with automatic transmissions OR does this mean that this product should not be added into automatic transmissions? Essentially, I own a 2007 BMW 530XI with Automatic Transmission and I'm trying to figure out if this product is suitable for my vehicle. Thank you! R. Medina 562.382.4071

This product should only be added to the engine oil. The vehicle can be automatic or standard, you just wouldn't want to add to transmission fluid.

Question Posted by Steven
i have recently (within 20k) replaced valve stem seals in my bmw n62 v8.... along with the alternator gasket for oil, oil cooler o rings and all the other o rings and gaskets associated with 150k engine pull out and rehab. will adding this additive do any harm (why would it) to newer fresh seals as opposed to the old dry ones, being that they are not necessarily in need of rejuvenation? there are tons of other plastic/vinyl/rubber seals and such internally i did not touch but would like them to get a spa day without effecting newer seals. im sure they will be fine but i have to ask because we all know what happens when you think you know and dont ask... THX.

Yes, this product can be used at any time. It won't do any harm to seals that are already in good condition/not leaking.
