Valvetronic Eccentric Shaft Actuator
When the car wouldn’t start and Valvetronic related codes were the diagnosis, I didn’t know for sure whether it was the sensor or this actuator. Researching the repair I decided that it was not worth guessing and at this price why not replace them both as well as refresh all the gaskets with the kit FCP can provide. This new actuator, after using the scan tool to relearn the limits, works perfectly. Car started right up better than it has in the last 10k miles, runs like a charm! Great value, quick shipment!

Valvetronic Eccentric Shaft Actuator and Valve Gasket Cover
While replacing my VGC I had the luxury of replacing this VESA unit as well.
Cautiously put this in and follow the FCP videos and recommendations, don't overtighten at all.
Use the bolts to hold this unit in place.

Replaced an old original unit to help smooth out bad idle. Now having replaced this and valve cover my idle is correct rpm and smooth. This unit was same thing as BMW but half the cost.
