Great screws
These are fabulous replacements for the plastic screws. Unbeatable price and lifetime warrant can't complain.

Good quality brass bleeder screw. Didn't want to risk having the plastic bleeder screw blowing off and spraying coolant everywhere so I replaced it with this. Adds a little color under the hood too :)

Love the brass bleeder screws, never have to worry about them leaking or breaking after years of temperature fluctuations.

A smart choice for failure prevention
This brass bleeder screw is a wise choice! Because the OEM bleeder screw is plastic, some owners have had the top head of this screw break off! And the remaining threaded portion inside has a groove up & down in the threads so this will create a cooling leaking out situation!!! It happened to me once. All you can do is buy a new upper radiator hose when it does break off. Plastic & hot coolant just don't get along well over time. Plastic breaks down under these conditions. It becomes brittle. If only all the coolant items were metal, we wouldn't have plastic failures! The expansion tanks, radiator ends etc, wouldn't be weak points anymore. But cost is king & car manufacturers will never make all metal components in the cooling system because of cost.

great item
This is what bmw should have included from the factory. Really the cost of two small metal bleed screws would have added nothing to the bottom line of the car and saved a lot heart ache for people over the years.
