NOT SNAKE OIL!
The key to getting best results is to use the LM engine flush product (in appropriate volume for your oil capacity...read the instructions), then use the correct amount of Ceratec to match the engine oil capacity, and drop that in before adding the new oil, etc. Used Ceratec w/oil flush on two Q7 TDI's now, and it's not difficult to tell how much quieter they run after it has had a chance to get to work for a bit, as others have noted. Often times post-oil flush and adding the Ceratec you will notice a near immediate difference in the noise levels, and specifically problem noises, coming from your engine. On our TDI's, for example, oil sludge and varnish deposits are a real problem over time due to poor fuel quality results in higher oil contamination, etc., and with long oil intervals, this is not good. The timing chain tensioners go bad early due to this even though the car uses only full synthetic oil rated for extended changes, etc. Diesels are known to make some noise, but our TDIs now idle & run extremely smooth....and quiet; no timing chain slap at start. That's primarily a result of the oil flush doing it's job, BTW, IMHO...getting rid of all the gunk that is preventing oil flow to critical areas of the engine.

Only the best
Been using this stuff for years and it always makes whatever car I put it in run quieter immediately. Like any lubricant, it breaks down after a while so I put a new bottle in about every 20k miles after an oil change.

Chattering Reduced
Engine chattering definitely reduced after putting this in. Put it in 6 mo after oil change which is not ideal, but still did the trick.

Ceratec
The 30K mileage use until next treatment has been showing! I've gone 15K since the application of the additive and the smoothness and less shear wear and tear gives me peace of mind, especially on rod bearings and cylinder heads! I will run this along with Liqui Moly Hydraulic Lifter additive for the first 10k, then go to Liqui Moly MOS2 for the next 10K and back to Liqui Moly Hydraulic Lifter before use of another Ceratec!

Worked
On a lark I put this my old Jeep at oil change. And bingo calmed down some clatter from the lifters that had been around for 50k miles.

Ceratec with Oil Change
Car seemed to idle and run smoother. Usually by 5,000 miles I have burned about half a quart. With using ceratec, there was no oil volume loss on the whole interval. It had to do something then.
