When I replace vacuum lines, I use the braided covered type. Sheilds the rubber hose from engine heat & the elements.

Great quality. Good for replacing all your vac hoses on your A6 2.8l motor.

Perfect OEM style hose in a 3.5mm hard to find size. Good price too.

Great hose. Wish it was sold in longer lengths (rather, not cut down to meter units that it is sold in). I was just barely able to reach from my throttle body intake to charcoal canister! Phew.
