No more noise after I replaced the bearings on my BMW E90-328i (157K miles). Took me about 3 hrs per wheel. I used a metal brush and PB blaster to clean rust from the end of the bolts and to lubricate. Access to the bolts is easy and facilitated by rotating the steering wheel. There is no need to remove the strut arm as there is plenty of space. Long breaker bar and a regular and thin walled 18mm sockets worked best for me. I was not using power tools. In both cases, I had to cut one of the top bolts that is located after the strut with a fine thin metal hacksaw as it got stuck half way and would not come out. Takes about 5 or 7 minutes and a saves a lot of time. For alignment, the metal tooth of NEW HUB must be pointing towards the rear of the vehicle and each of the bolts must be tightened quickly to proper ft-lb torque after the application of the thread locker. Worked very well for me.

I replaced both wheel hubs on my 2011 335d. wORKED GREAT AND EASY TO DO.

Fit perfectly,. Make sure you get new bolts. This kit included them thankfully.
