fcp euro why anyone else?
If you own a bmw then there's really nowhere else you should be buying your parts from. A lifetime warranty on everything? heck yeah! they got a lifetime customer in me!

Pierburg water pump on 2013 X1 N55
Original water pump failed at precisely 80,000mi and just out of the settlement warranty unfortunately, so I bought this water pump/t stat kit. I went with Pierburg for the full metal housing even though they are not OE on my model, but are OE on other BMW models so that gives me some peace of mind that it’s not some random aftermarket part. 7-8hrs to do the whole job and I replaced the mahle rad with a CSF full aluminum one at the same time so I don’t have to worry about the plastic crimped on sides leaking every two years. So far so good and I’m happy with my choice and shout out to FCP for carrying this version of the pump!

Pierberg full metal water pump
My water pump gave out at precisely 80,000 miles and just out of warranty from the water pump settlement (strange I know) so I bought this water pump kit for my 2013 X1 N55. 8hrs later I completed the job and bled the system, and the pump had been working fine so far. I noticed it doesn’t have the rubber dampener grommets that the OE vdo/conti pump has but hopefully the vibrations from the direct mounting to the block do not cause

Delivered fast. EASY INSTALL! Fits in place with no issues. When I removed the FME caps that were covering the discharge ports, there was a small amount of coolant inside of the pump. I learned that these should not be dry and coolant should be inside to prevent the internal parts from binding while being shelved and awaiting purchasing and installation. Hoses connected with no issues. I knew I had a good unit when it worked like a work horse during the bleeding procedure. Did not have to program the pump to the car. Haven't had a problem with it yet. Thank you FCP Euro for carrying this version of the pump. The plastic version just seems cheap, I don't care if it has BMW stamped on it.

I replaced mine a year ago with this, fitment is superb, and it's one less worry about plastic cracking open as in other aged water pumps.
