Seems like a high class unit, and the fact it's got an alloy impeller certainly gives you confidence it won't go 'bang' like the plastic ones eventually would.

I bought this water pump because I did a clutch fan delete and wanted the extra movement of water through my system. Fit perfect and works great.

Got my WP about a month ago but just now installed it today.However the pump is fairly loud and im not sure if its a bad bearing or what does anyone elses make a loud ticking noise? I mean, the car cools fine im just worried that i may have to replace it soon.Once It breaks in and i feel better about it ill update to 5 stars till then, its just doing what it supposed to do.

Great quality water pump. Bearings run smoothly and I noticed the car cooling faster immediately after install. Seems to also help my problematic automatic transmission since the heat exchanger is working more efficiently. Since it's pushing more coolant, it's also safe to say I'm adding a bit of strain to the engine, like the opposite of a reduction pulley set. Still worth the money for safety.

That saying you get what you pay for is truly applicable here. This pump is a QUALITY bulletproof replacement. After 17 years but only 75k miles, I figured my original pump had deteriorated enough to replace it, and swapped it out during a thermostat change. This part is heavy solid metal. It will last the rest of the lifetime on this car while providing increased performance.
