These trunk lid struts are very powerful, which is great when your hands are full, but not so great because I have to touch the paint every time I shut the trunk. However, they work very well on my steep driveway to hold the trunk open.

Very pleased with putting these Stabilus support replacements on my 1998 BMW 528i. I am no longer putting my fingers and neck in jeopardy going into my trunk.
Perfect fit and excellent service from FCP.

Bought a pair to replace the old. It worked and fitted 100% perfectly to my E39 523i Yr 1999 car.
