My old, what I assume was URO, Alum/ thermostat housing failed so I bought this. This housing isn't pot metal and it came with a gasket and it leak free when torqued to spec. It is shiny as heck.

Contrary to many claim that aluminum housing is prone to leak, this housing is water tight so far after 2 weeks now.

Plastic housing had cracked, decided to replace with aluminium. Easy replacement, far better option than OEM.

Fine inexpensive aluminum thermostat housing. Very easy to install. No coolant leaks anymore. Note: be sure to not use any sort of gasket maker or it most likely will leak.

Ordered this for my 1997 328i when doing a cooling system overhaul when I bought the car, great quality as expected and even came with the gasket for the housing to the block! Thanks again FCP!
