Great replacement for my 2002 BMW 525i. Works as it describe.

This is the OEM thermostat, at a fraction of the price.

This thermostat failed after only 9 months and the vehicle driven less than 2000 miles. Very disappointing and labor cost to fix this subpar part.

Over the course of my E46's life (164K) I have replaced the thermostat 4 times due to leaks, three of them with Wahler, one from Napa. This seems excessive. The thin rubber O-ring sealing the interface doesn't hold up. With FCP's excellent guaranty, I keep using Wahlers but next time will try the OEM BMW.

2005 X3, works fine, fit perfect, comes with gasket. Done during coolant overhaul at 173k miles.

Works well, mine developed a slow leak from the electrical connection area after almost a year and a half. Minor inconvenience but easily fixed. We'll see how long the next one lasts!

Very easy to replace and finally took care of my recurring CEL regarding thermal map. Didnt realize it came with gaskets
