good product works well

Solid construction. Looks almost like the original part I had. Perfect fit. Made my P0128 code go away. Thank you.

Perfect fit. Used it before for another BMW. Not sure about longevity since I sold that one. We'll see how long it last on this one.

Thermostat for 2002 x5

This part was a direct part replacement and fit perfectly without any additional gasket sealant needed. It was a very easy installation and fixed my service engine soon light that was assoc'd with the error code P-0597. Thanks FCP!! highly recommended

This thermostat seems to run about 3-4ºC warmer than the OEM thermostat on my car. That said, the OEM thermostat was 100k miles old when I replaced it; it could be that they cool as they wear. When worked hard, the engine drops to around 88ºC; about 3-4ºC warmer than the OEM thermostat would keep the engine in those conditions. Honestly, the 3-4ºC change does worry me a little bit. I keep a close eye on the temps.

This part came in a BMW labeled box so I know it was OEM. FCP always delivers the best parts. FCP always has the best prices. Even with my BMWCCA discount of 20% at the dealer I still save another 20-30% on parts at FCP Euro. And the best service after the sale anywhere.
