A+ Will ONLY buy this brand.
I have had good luck using off-brand thermostats for my E46 before, but I started heating an overheating issue with a brand new, 3rd-party brand. I purchased this as a last resort after spending 3x the money replacing other components. Fixed the problem instantly. I've learned my lesson, OE thermostats from now on!

Factory temperature range!
Originally bought a BorgWarner thermostat for my E46 cooling system overhaul. Found it to be running a few degrees hotter (97-99°C) vs my factory thermostat (93-96°C). This Mahle Behr unit brought my temps back into the range I was used to seeing!
