2 years ago I lowered my car on Koni Shocks and H&R Race springs. I had the stiffest ride ever. Made me hate driving my car. Being young and naive I thought that my springs and shocks were just so stiff that the knocks and back breaking jolts were normal. They weren't. My original shock mounts were so used they had formed a "8" shape for the shock to seat in instead of an "O" as well as the middle retainer having broken off from the rest of the mount. My rear end sheet metal basically dampened - if you could call it that - everything for the last two years. luckily I didn't break my shock towers.
These mounts are sturdy and do a much better job at absorbing impact than old broken mounts. I recommend them. Took me 15 minutes to install both of them. Wish I'd done it so much sooner.

Heard great stuff about this so I tried it and the noise seems to be quieter than my RSM that came with my coilover.

Meyle built it with an internal metal reinforcement for longer life rather than OEM rubber around the metal sleeve. Great RSM!
