I purchased these as I had the typical rear shock symptoms for the e90. At first I would get loud bangs when going into larger divots in the road, then that turned into a loud rattling and the suspension being very bouncy. When I took the shock out it was seized and the washer mount bit was broken, top of shock sticking out if trunk. These new shocks make the car feel amazing. The rear is not much more stiff and the car sits at its normal height. Thanks FCP! Also make sure to get the mounting kit that FCP put together. The old mounts are not worth keeping.

The old shocks have been squeaking for some time and were starting to bottom out. Took a while to get one side done after a stubborn bolt piece, but the other side was a piece of cake. The car feels so much better and the noise is gone!
