wear and tear item.
Cheap part, good quality. Should be replaced whenever shifter rod is taken out. This is plastic and does wear away as it is exposed to the elements that enter it from underneath the car.

Worked well enough
Seemed just a larger in diameter than the original I removed, and had a lot fo flashing on the bottom making it was tough to press in to the right depth. I had to push harder than I would've liked while turning to get it to snap in. Once in, the performance seems as good as the original so I'm happy.
