I replaced the high pressure fuel pump on my 2011 F25 BMW X3. The N55 engine in my '11 X3 had the same fuel pump that has caused issues in N54 BMW's (this was eventually resolved in 2012). I used a DIY I found online for an N54 and the process was fairly similar, but did take some time to work through the differences. The new pump fixed my long-cranking issues right away and the engine has been running great since. FCP had one of the best prices I could find for this HPFP and the lifetime warranty was a big selling point for me.

I bought a 335i back in June that had signs of a failing HPFP: long cold cranking, stuttering, half-engine light at high load, along with 29F1 and 29F2 codes. Installed this over Christmas. So far no issues. Pleased with the way the the engine is running. Only downside is no prepaid shipping for the core back to FCP.

Shipped and received very quickly. I fitted the pump and the car immediately fired up properly. No more codes and rough idle with only the lpfp working.
