Do not buy!!!!
This part came and when comparing it with the original it seemed fine. However, the lower heater hose port is smaller in diameter than the original so the oring on the heater hose is loose and does not seal!!! The other problem is that the clip that secures the heater hose to the port cannot click in place because the rein part has plastic in the clip channel I’m guessing from the manufacturing process. Even after removing the excess plastic the clip still did not engage properly. Don’t waste your time with this and just order the BMW part.

Doesn't fit well enough
Using this one was the first time I've ever replaced it. Fitting it on to the radiator elbow wasn't easy but that's exactly what I was expecting for something that is supposed to fit tight enough to flow liquids. Well... It still leaks anyway at the radiator elbow like everyone else's. And I'm done nursing it now so I'm sending it back. I'm not a fan of this particular design that BMW Incorporated for a rather crucial component leaving no room for error ny pretty much hanging the weight of other connections right off of the plastic fittings of a radiator elbow isn't exactly durable.

Radiator hose
The fitting for the heater hose connection is made .020 smaller than the original and does not seal. Don’t waste your money and time on this product, you will only be doing the job again. This hose should be taken off the website as a cheaper alternative to the original. I would give it zero stars if I could!

radiatore upper hose
I bought this part 3 months ago it worked fine than but there was leak so I order the radiator and replace the radiator too, but after finishing the job when I initiated the auto bleed all the coolant start gushing out of this hose from where is goes into radiator, it didn't seals up. The quality is very bad.

So far so good, perfect fitment no issues. Been on for around 3k miles.

Leaks at heater hose connection
This hose is ok with one significant issue: at least on my car and the product that I received, the connection down to the heater hose was ever so slightly narrower than the OE hose/than the OE o-ring within the heater hose. I had to source a different (slightly 'fatter') o-ring to get this to stop leaking. I am not the only one to have had this issue. Anecdotally I am not impressed with these Rein hoses.

Fitment and quality is not OEM
It does the job but the hose material and the fitment are definitely not OEM-like. I replaced this hose and it started leaking around the connector to the heater core hose that runs to the firewall immediately after filling the expansion tank with new coolant. Had to get an O-ring kit and replace the O-ring of the heater core hose with a slightly thicker one. Also, be careful while removing this hose from the radiator, mine developed a slight hairline crack on the black plastic after removing the old hose.

BE CAREFUL REPLACING
As others said and I can’t stress it enough these cars are getting older my hose was seized on the $600 plastic radiator inlet so i split it with a sawzall until I could crack it in half save your breath just be careful!
