Glad I bought it
Great little tool. Bonus points for being red like my power steering fluid. Pro-tip: Just remove your air intake box and then put this tool in on the side of the hose rather than on top, you won't be able to fit it on top of the pipe fitting. Then just push and it comes right off.

Power steering hose removal tool
This tool made changing out power steering hoses on my 2001 330i much easier without having to remove light nor expansion tank. I would highly recommend to other who work on their own BMW’s.

At first you look at the hose removal tool and you think its not going to work but once you use it you see how simple removal of these hoses can be works even on the oldest nasty looking hoses popit on and off it comes off

Worth it
Just get this tool, way easier than having to figure out another solution. Note: when putting the hoses back on, just push them until they click. This tool is not needed to attached the new hose

Don't struggle, make the tools do the work.
I did a power steering refresh on my 330ci. Reservior, hoses and clamps with a bleeding. (Car on stands, engine running, reservior full between the two lines on the dipstick and do 5 full turns of the steering wheel left and right until no bubbles are visible in the reservior) I was expecting to have to struggle with the hose disconnecting part, but with this tool, was a total non event.

Worked perfectly and easy to use. The only thing I found was that you can pull the hose all the way off the connector with the tool still in place. You have to put the tool on the hose to disconnect the fitting, pull the hose out until you hit the stop, then remove the tool to pull the hose the rest of the way off.
