Great Product. I couldn't figure out how to use the clamps with the kit without the proper tool. I went to Lowes to pick up some screw clamps, and they worked like a charm. I also used a hose cutter to shorter the length ( 1/2 inch) of the hoses attached to the reservoir. Lastly, I bought an extra bottle of CHF 11S fluid to do a flush from the top engine. Overall, I am a satisfied customer!

Great package for any leaky reservoir which is very common on these E90s. I would recommend buying a couple generic house clamps instead of the bmw type provided.

BMW Power Steering Reservoir Kit
The kit came with everything needed to change the power steering reservoir.
I did use different clamps as the ones BWM use are a pain.

quieted down my power steering
Replaced this at around 70,000 miles and have put 5,000 miles on the car since, quiet and smooth power steering. i would recommend to buy and extra bottle of CHF 11 S to completely flush the power sterring fluid. 2006 BMW 330i.

Great kit, just recommend using the right tool for the hose clamps. Very difficult to secure the hose clamps without the special tool for crimping.

It's exactly what I needed, but man.. the old one would not come out. This fit perfectly though. Looks all shiny and everything too.

Much-Needed Power Steering Maintenance
When my friend told me how hard my BMW 328i was to turn, I checked the steering fluid reservoir to find, not only was it low, but also it was murky and almost black. It definitely needed to be changed. This kit was exactly what I needed. Once I removed the old steering fluid and reservoir, the new fluid and reservoir were super easy to install.

The cap on my tank had an o-ring that produced a small leak. Bought this kit and threw it in within an hour. Everything you need to change power steering fluid besides maybe a pump

Looks like these clamp pliers are the right tool for these clamps:
Knipex Tools Part Numbers: 85 51 250 C and 85 51 180 C or other variants from Knipex.
Here's a YouTube video as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ2lShP1N-A

BMW Power Steering Reservoir Kit - 512051KT
Replacement parts worked well. Great price. No complaints.
** Pro Tip: Buy extra hose clamps in case you break or damage one when trying to put it on. Would be nice if someone could add the correct tool part number or description in the reviews for putting on and taking off these custom clamps. You could also use a regular hose clamp if you prefer just take care not to tighten too tight and crack/crush the reservoir piece.
Also when placing the reservoir back into the reservoir holder, it's already a tight fit and doesn't require much tightening of the screw. If you tighten the screw too much it could crush/deform the reservoir and create a leak around this seam.
