Exactly as advertised, the Rein oil pan bolt set is identical aluminum bolts to the oem. If you have a e82 135i chassis or some of the other BMW models, there will be 5 extra long bolts so nothing to worry about. Make sure to follow the torque specs provided by Rein in the package. For my N55, the torque specs were 8nm, 90 degrees for 23 short e12 torx bolts and 180 degrees for the longer ones that go on the back of the oil pan by near the transmission. This is a great time if you’ve removed the subframe while doing the oil pan to get to any other maintenance items such as the water pump, downpipe or o2 sensors while you have so much more access to the mentioned items. The bolts are aluminium, keep it in mind as they stretch when used. Full set

Brand new bolts, aluminum must be replaced as they are stretched. I did however have 5 extra long bolts that didn’t get used, wonder if there are different versions of the pan? Doesn’t matter it worked out. It came with torque specs which I compared to the BMW manual and they are correct. Install tip: When putting the pan back up, do yourself a favor and loosely zip tie the gasket in place in 2 places both sides to hold the gasket. Then after starting several bolts loosely, cut them off and finish your bolts install.

All OEM bolts, fit perfectly, even gave me one extra of each bolt incase any were misplaced!

Bolt set was fine besides having too many bolts which made install a little confusing. Also, I had a bolt that I removed from my oil pan that was not included in the set. It was between the medium bolt and the small bolt. Not sure if this is model specific or not....

Fit great had no issues on my 2007 335i e92. it was scary especially when your torquing the angle it feels as if they are going to break but not one did. Thanks
