If you can handle the mental anguish brought on from the absence of the words "BMW recommends Castrol" from your oil filler cap, this is the one for you. Economical and works just like the original. Remember to place it upright on a towel when removed to avoid oil running onto the gasket as it will when flipped upside down (which will then run back onto your engine cover / fill neck when you flip it rightside up to reinstall).

Perfect fit and finish. This cap does not have the nasty Castrol oil stamped on to it like the oem one has. Always good to replace the cap when replacing the VCG on high mileage cars.

My original filler cap had hardened and was starting to break due to heat over the years. I replaced my cap when doing my oil change and it fit like a glove. Cheap way to prevent vacuum leaks.
